Trained at the Birmingham School of Chiropody, Bill is a retired Consultant Podiatric Surgeon, who worked in both private practice and the NHS. A qualified teacher and lecturer, nationally and internationally, to Institute members and to medical organisations. Bill also was an advisor to the Healthcare Commission which appointed him as an ‘expert witness’. A Fellow of the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, Bill has served as Chairman of the Education Sub-Committee and as Chair of the organisation. More recently Bill has served as a co-opted member of the Board advising on matters relevant to surgery and local anaesthesia.

Qualifying in April 1997 with the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, Caroline is now in her 25th year as an Institute member. Caroline has worked across the private healthcare sector in various roles as both a healthcare professional, and a business owner/director. Caroline has an established business which has now expanded to three clinics specialising in Podiatry, Chiropody, Foot Health, Remedial Massage, Beauty, Acupuncture, Counselling and alternative therapies.
Since 2019 Caroline has served as the England North Regional Director of the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and is the Leeds Branch Secretary as well as the lead of the IOCP’s NEW Business Club. Caroline is also studying for her Level 3 award in Education and Training which will enable her to tutor and mentor future Foot Health Practitioners at our Southport Training School.

Linda has worked in Private Practice since qualifying as a Chiropodist in 1997 from the Scholl training school in Southport, where she joined the Institute of Chiropodists. In 2010, Linda gained her BSc in Podiatric Medicine. Linda is the current President of the Institute of Chiropodists & Podiatrists as well as the Wales Regional Director.
Linda is an advocate of regional meetings, face-to-face meetings, education and continued learning. Linda believes ensuring the longevity of the IOCP is paramount, and that she can help to forward the profession and raise its profile in a positive manner towards a stronger and brighter future for all levels of our membership whilst upholding the Institutes core values.
